One very important organization in promoting and solidifying the present pre-engineered, pre-fabricated metal structure industry is called the MBMA, or Metal Building Manufacturer’s Association. The intentions of this group has been, and continues to be, an unwavering pursuit of industry-wide agreement on coverage and protection rules, building code applications, and design guidelines. In 1956 the MBMA began in the U.S. with 13 original members, and it pushed ahead in its energetic work through to today.
