Today, the non-residential sector is responsible for the biggest use of one and two-story all-steel construction layouts. This statement was recently substantiated by the Metal Building Manufacturers Association. Commercial and business uses of high-grade steel recently comprised almost one third of all-steel building sales. These buildings have consisted of more modern designs rather than the conventional beige facilities–multi-windowed office complexes, modern auto dealerships and aircraft manufacturing facilities are several examples. There are a few essential advantages of pre-fabricated steel buildings over more conventional methods of construction.
